The complete source code of every build is published with it (folder source/ of the site) and in demo/crossover/ of the lecture repository. Works this game is based on --------------------------- 1. nInvaders - GPL-2.0-or-later Copyright (C) 2002-2003 Dettus Additional code (credited in nInvaders' version screen) by Mike Saarna, Sebastian Gutsfeld, Alexander Hollinger and Matthias Thar. Source: https://github.com/sf-refugees/ninvaders (commit ab121853c1d9d168f243687c800a73ca1223b079) Adapted here (re-written in TypeScript, no C code copied): the formation march and step-down (aliensMove), the speed formula `weite` (handleTimer/playerMoveMissile), the alien bomb timing and front-line shooter choice (aliensMissileMove, lowest_ship), the one-missile-at-a-time rule (playerLaunchMissile), the saucer appearance chance and its 500 points (ufoShowUfo, doScoring), three lives and an extra life per 6000 points (main, doScoring). Because this game adapts nInvaders, it is licensed under the GPL as well. 2. 2048.c - MIT Copyright (c) 2024 Maurits van der Schee Source: https://github.com/mevdschee/2048.c (commit 90343eb209e84fa9687d596f5d5eecfdf7d4df51) Adapted here: equal numbers merge into the next power of two and the merged value is added to the score (slideArray), gaps are skipped when looking for a merge partner (findTarget), and new numbers are the base value with 90 % and its double with 10 % probability (addRandom). Original to this game --------------------- The crossover rules (numbered invaders, numbered shots, chain merges along a row, wave targets 32 ... 2048, the joker from the saucer, swapping the loaded number), all graphics (drawn in code in src/render.ts, src/fx.ts and icon.svg), all sound effects (synthesised at run time in src/audio.ts) and the German and English texts. No image, sound or music file from any other game is used. The game has no connection to, and is not endorsed by, the authors of the games above or by the owners of any similarly named game or trade mark. Music: none. The optional music slot (src/music.ts) is empty; a track may only be added together with an entry in demo/LICENSES.json. Build tools (not shipped in the game): esbuild (MIT), TypeScript (Apache-2.0), @types/node (MIT).
